Freelance Music and Sound Design: May 2016 – Present
Throughout all stages of my career I have strived to take on new projects, and in between full time jobs, it becomes my focus.
I have worked with a wide range of clients including composing music for London Life (Canada Life), Dead Estate, Star Fort Games, sound effects for Doom Turtle, and many more. Extensive experience in Pro Tools, composing multiple styles of music and creating a wide range of sound design. Have contributed to numerous full game releases, game jams, and indie games. Comfortable with working in many styles of sound, be it realistic, fantasy, or retro.
Simwave – Sound Designer: May 2021 – July 2024
Simwave (A Calian Company) is a developer of immersive (VR) learning experiences.
At Simwave I was responsible for filling out VR experiences with audio, and voiceover/music when applicable. My daily responsibilities included creating custom sound plans for each experience, creating the proper recordings and assets, and working with the developers to integrate them for interactive use. Sound Design was done in Pro Tools, and development in Unreal Engine and Unity. I continued at Simwave until being part of a layoff.

Freeman Audio Visual – Technical Services Representative: November 2019 – February 2020
Setting up, operating, and dismantling sound and video equipment at events. Transporting the proper gear, loading and unloading, and setting up venues. Events usually consisted of audio setups for speaking, live music, lighting, and projectors for video.

Kindly Beast -Sound Designer/Music Composer September 2018 – October 2019
During my time as part of the sound team at Kindly Beast, I provided sound and music for projects “Showdown Bandit” and early versions of “Bendy and the Dark Revival”. Assisted development team in building a custom audio system in Unity, which we used together to implement sounds dynamically. Created assets, music, cinematic, ambience, and edited dialog.

Oddly Made Games – Sound Designer/Music Composer: February 2018 – August 2018
As part of this indie development team I supplied music and sound to ongoing projects and contracts.

In my studies at Berklee Online, I went through a module on Wwise. I am currently refreshing myself by going through the latest training course offered on the Audiokinetic website.
- Git
During employment at Simwave, I became comfortable with managing my own branch and pushing my implementation changes when needed.
- Jira
At past jobs I have been managed through tasks in Jira, as well as occasionally reporting bugs.
- Unreal Engine
While working at Simwave, I would often be tasked to implement my sound design assets in Unreal. I used blueprints in order to set up mostly basic functions such as randomization and ambience in 3D environments.
